Job Position Description:
This position is primarily a Mon-Fri position between the hours of 1:00pm-9:00pm with some flexibility required. The ServiceMaster Clean Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, implementation, and execution of our commercial/janitorial department. The ideal candidate would be responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer’, their staff and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities in a positive and constructive manner.

Other duties may be Assigned:
• Overall duties include professionall overseeing, motivating, and working side by side with our janitorial staff in the Alexandria and surrounding areas.
• Working with the President and Chief Operation Manager on flow of communication to staff and our business partners.

• Assist in interviews of new hires.

• Performing hands on training of new hires.
•Performing follow-up staff visits, solidifying a strong relationship, and creating a unified work environment.
•Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, including delivering supplies to our staff and our client building location.
•Perform periodic onsite inspections and review with staff.
•Maintain a good working relationship with customers via over the phone or in-person
•Capability and willingness of performing production in accounts as needed

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Constant (up to 100%) sitting, standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
Must have an eye for detail
1-2 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager is a plus but not required
Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
